Molyan is a luxury clothing label that nurtures self expression through one-of-a-kind, small-batch wearables. We study the traditional technique of chainstitch through a playful and contemporary lens, situating handcraft and sustainability at the core of our practice. All garments are original and handmade in Austin, Texas.

MEET THE DESIGNER
My name is Molyan Hiett Dery, namesake to the brand and my grandmother. Most people just call me Molly. I grew up in the West Texas town of El Paso, where the juxtaposition of my hometown to Mexico became the inspiration for our debut collection— desert rains, sunrises and sunsets, cotton candy skies, the tale end mountain range of the Rockies, and an entirely different time zone to the rest of Texas. It's my upbringing against this enchanting landscape that influences the many colors in each distinctive piece.

I currently live in Austin, Texas where I practice anesthesia 1-2 times per week. Blossoming from a desire to access my creative side, Molyan has been an idea five years in the making. Since launching in 2022, we've grown from an online shop to partnering with a handful of stockists near and far.
